Do Not Accuse The Lord

The Man Who Saw God Face To Face

Introduction
Do you know that many people are accusing God for one thing or the other? Some are blaming Him for the sufferings and disappointments they encounter in their everyday life, while others even blame Him for the trouble they cause.
One minister of God was telling me why he is angry with God. According to him, he had a dream about the girl he would marry. He said that he knows the girl very well and was ready to marry her. His disappointment was that he went to a church to join the ministers in training. On the first day of his visit, he saw the girl inside the church, being wedded to another man. Since that time and event, he stopped attending the church and even stopped doing the work of God. However well I tried to convince him of the goodness of God, he refused to change his mind.
For people to be able to give clear and complete interpretations to the issues of life, they have to study Spiritual Science. Until that is done, majority would not know why things are the way they are.
Necessary Explanations
- The fact is that somebody who is just starting God’s work should first focus his heart, mind and efforts on building up a successful ministry.
- Marriage should not be the person’s number 1 priority.
- The boy is just starting divine ministry and has no savings. So, how can he feed the wife and the family? Soon after wedding come the children and all the necessary expenses that are unavoidable. How can he bear all these burden when he has no regular means of earning money?
- It is true that he saw himself in a dream being wedded to the girl. But that dream does not mean that his wife must be the same girl. At times, dreams are parables intended to draw our attention to future realities and possibilities. When Angels want to tell you of good things, they use the appearances of those you love or like. And when the same Angels want to warn you of coming bad things, they use the appearances of those consider as your enemies. Be wise!
- Jesus said whoever that wants to follow Him must deny himself, carry his cross and follow Him. To deny oneself means you must first deny your wife, children and possessions for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. They must not a hindrance to doing the work of God.
- The same Jesus said that whoever loves wife, husband or children more than Him is not worthy of Him.
- Again, he said that whatever a person loses for the sake of the kingdom of heaven, that the person shall gain hundred folds of the same thing. So, if lost a girl because of God’s work, there are still so many Angels in heaven waiting to become his friend. And Angels are more beautiful, lovely and loving than the earthly girls, most of whom are possessed by evil spirits or demons.
- In all situations, do not allow the things of the world to interfere in your love and relationship with God. Everybody is expected to pass trials, as Abraham did, to become a man of faith and a friend of God. If we humans conduct tests (examinations and interviews) for employment, is it now a sin for God to test the hypocrites, who claim to be righteous without knowing the meaning of righteousness?
Those who accuse the Lord are multiplying their sins and punishment.
